It is recognized by almost every trucking company in the U.S. as meeting or exceeding hiring requirements. This program meets the training requirements called for by the Commercial Vehicle Training Association, and complies with new Federal regulations for Entry Level Drivers. The program provides the necessary theory instruction and behind the wheel training to become a professional driver. \r\nThe first week is Zoom live-stream theory instruction. All students are assigned an online training text on day 2 that contains 35 chapters with quizzes which cover the federally required theory subjects; Rules of the Road, Air Brakes, Pre-Trip Inspections, Accident Procedures, Cargo Documentation and Securement, Hours of Service Regulations, Driver Qualification Regulations, Defensive Driving, Backing and Loading Dock Procedures, Hazardous Materials Information.\r\nStudents must pass pre-trip and backing evaluations in order to move forward with the next phases of training.\r\nThe program includes one-to-one on the road behind-the-wheel lessons with instructors. As many hours of training are provided as necessary to achieve desired proficiency.\r\nUnlimited simulator and backing range practice are provided.\r\nState authorized CDL road test. Interstate schedules the test and provides the truck.\r\nUS DOT drug screen and physical are provided.\r\nNew classes start every Monday.
