Career opportunities for students with baccalaureate degrees in health management include management positions in hospitals, long-term care facilities, health maintenance and other managed care organizations, public health departments, community-based and home health agencies, medical equipment companies, government regulatory agencies, and health insurance companies.--The health management program focuses on developing managerial, administrative, and computer skills, supplementing those skills with an in-depth knowledge of the health care system. The program prepares graduates to offer managerial excellence to employers. --Long-term Care Administration--The health management program has been approved by the Minnesota Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators and meets Minnesota regulations for long-term health care administration. Health management program graduates are eligible to take the Minnesota licensure examination for nursing home administration. --Program outcomes:--?
